Check out the list with some “must do” things:
1. create a business strategy which includes SMART goals for medium term( 1-2 years) and long term ( 4-5 years)
Your business strategy must include informations about:
a. your product/ service
b. your target costumers( geographic location, age, profession, consuming habbits, interests, etc)
c. your product/ service market ( SWOT analysis, niche positioning, etc)
d. your product/ service price( how realistic is the price, are your target customers willing to pay that price for your product/ service, is your product offering enough value for this price?)
e. your financial resources
f. Marketing/ PR strategy to promote your business
g. results of your business strategy( rate of new clients, which Marketing tools are getting you more clients, etc).
2. core motivation( purpose of your business)
3. positioning your brand( who are your clients? what can you do for them?)
4. communicate your brand at any level ( on business cards, on email signatures, on your website/ blog, at any events, at the end of any article/ newsletter that you write, at any business events)
5. use some Marketing tools:
- have a professional website
-attend networking events from your branch
- build an elevator pitch , very simple and specific, targeting your ideal clients.
- be consistent with your Marketing/ PR strategy
